Angie (32) is a successful woman owner of a beauty treatment clinic. For 4 months, in a dating app, she met Max (38), who poses as a doctor who works in “Doctors without borders,” a widower and father of an 8-year-old girl.
Due to her loneliness and low self-esteem, Angie started an online relationship with this man, who appeared to be perfect. Rebeca, Angie’s best friend, mistrusts Max, but she fears that her friend will get hurt. For Rebeca, the virtual is inaccurate, but Angie does not share her way of thinking.
Max tells Angie that they will send him to a guerrilla zone, and he has to take his daughter because he has no other choice. Once in this dangerous place, Max fears for the girl’s life and safety and asks Angie to “lend” him money.

Max is making Angie sick and tries to kill her by injecting liquid potassium so that she dies, simulating a heart attack.
