After a heartbreak, ISABEL decides to rent a small Christmas cottage in a secluded village to spend the holiday season working on her book. However, widower JUAN ANDRÉS and his daughter LAURITA have had the same idea. Due to a mix-up, they end up renting the same house. The area is fully booked for the season, so they are forced to share the place, initially for one night. But a series of circumstances prolong their situation.
